Open position -- NUE

Bought at market price, sold the call just ITM hoping that it would be exercised early. However, Brexit hit, and the price dropped too low to be exercised. On Brexit day, my $0.03 buyback limit order triggered, so I ended up writing a new call about a month out. And I got to keep the dividend.

Between the dividend and the two calls, still a profitable position even though the price is down over 3%. But there is a month to go before expiration.

Open Position -- MCD

I thought the drop on 6/22 was an overreaction, so I jumped in. I sold the call ITM call to give myself a little leeway, but if I pocket nearly $700 in two days (a 0.57% return), I'll be happy. I wouldn't mind writing more calls on the stock either, if I end up holding it.

As it turned out, I did get to write another call on it when my $0.03 limit price to buy back the existing call triggered. I'd be ecstatic to earn $1000 a week on the position. :)

It dropped quite a bit because of Brexit. I almost bought more, but didn't have a lot of cash available. Like the rest of the market, it's been recovering well from the 2-day Brexit "panic".

Open Position -- MRK

I added another position to the dividend play on MRK.

Brexit brought the MRK price down quite a bit and the extrinsic values on the calls were higher than normal, so I added another position. I chose the same expiration date for convenience.

I also rolled up the old MRK call on 6/24, because my $0.03 limit order to buy back the existing call triggered. So I just sold another one for several weeks out.

Again, so far so good. :)

Open Position -- MMM

I opened a new position on MMM with the Brexit decline.

MMM had declined from $174.11 to $169.12 on the previous Friday, so I was expecting more of a decline on Monday morning. I put in a limit order of $165 before the market opening on 6/27.When it bounced just over $165 several times, I changed the limit order to $165.60 and got the stock. I chose the call since it seemed the best available at the time.

Dividend Plays...MCD

This one went a little sideways. My limit order to sell the call on the day before it went ex-dividend didn't get filled. So I ended up getting the dividend. I did sell a call the next day, for what I thought was an adequate profit if it filled.
